Geography - weathering, deposition and erosion
Really interesting lesson learning about the different ways coast can be changed.
Weathering is when substances are broken down or disintegrated by a physical, chemical or biological process.
Erosion is the movement of sediment or soil from one location to the other by means of water, ice or wind. Items are still moving.
Deposition is when particles carried by water, ice or wind are deposited in another location.
The children were really good at justifying their reasons why a scenario was either, weathering, erosion or deposition.
